I bought this mouse because it was on sale and it has the perfect amount of reachable buttons for my needs. Especially when a mouse with the same 8 Programmable buttons like mine costs twice as much as the one i have now from a different manufacturer. It may be solved for you but maybe getting a new mouse isnt in everyones best interest. It could be a number of things, But i dont think this issue is solved by getting a new mouse. Its works like that for me too, the software works for some other games but not always CSGO, which is extremely frustrating. Interesting, You mentioned SteelSeries, so it seems like its counterstrike. I consider it a minor issue relative to having a nice wireless mouse and headset. I have just gotten used to testing sound and mouse before playing any game. I have the same issue with SteelSeries software not detecting the active game. Find the game in the task manager, right click on properties and copy the game path location. Next, with the game running switch to task manager. First open the game that you are trying to set up a profile for.
#Logitech g hub not recognizing mouse update#
Except for the update issues I mentioned earlier with G Hub and the occasional case of not detecting the active game (fixed with a quick ALT+TAB), everything is working for me. Updated 2 y I had this issue and finally found a solution. does it seem fair to you? I use LGS with my old wired G502. Even you had to find a workaround to actually use your mouse.

Now right-click the Logitech G HUB and choose Pin to taskbar. Click OK to close the previous Properties window. what I am actually pissed off is that Logitech has put on the market a faulty software that doesn’t work for everyone and we paid for it good money. Inside Advanced Properties check Run as administrator and click OK. Originally posted by Death Star:Yes mate I understand.
